Temporal Preservers are an enigmatic race. No one knows from where or when they came (maybe not even they themselves know), but their purpose is well known indeed. Temporal Preservers are the living embodiments and gaurdians of time itself.

Most Temporal Preservers appear as humans, but they have also been known to appear in the form of other sentient beings. Temporal Preservers are not shapeshifters. Each one apparently is created on a particulatr planet, and resembles the natives of that one world.

M.D.C. Worlds

M.D.C.: 100 + 3D4x10

NON-M.D.C. Worlds:

H.P.: 2 x P.E. + 2D4 per level

S.D.C.: 200 + 4D6x10

Natural Abilities: Nightvision, bio-regenerate 2D6 HP/SDC (or 1D6 MDC in Rifts) per minute, regenerate one limb per day.

Weaknesses: Phase weapons do double damage

NOTE: The Special Ablities section makes referrence to baseline time. This is simply the moment in time in which a person, object, etc. is supposed to exist. Baseline time is the latest moment that the object was actually in. For example, if a time traveller goes back 15 minutes, then he is 15 minutes before his baseline time. Baseline time does not advance unless one is actually in the baseline time moment. If you don't quite get this, then contact me at SurfName01@aol.com, and I'll try to explain it a little better

Special Abilities:

• Time Sense: A Temporal Preserver is able to psychically tell the exact time, sense the curvature of space time, detect portals and vortexes (even latent, see below), and sense temporal disturbances. A Preserver can determine if an object or person is from the future, and approximately how far he has travelled. While in their past, Temporal Preservers can also see events as they are supposed to happen.
• Time Warp: Temporal Preservers can travel 100 days per level before their baseline time
• Open Portal: Temporal Preservers are able to open a time portal which was active up to 3 days before their attempt.
• Restore State: While before the baseline time, a Temporal Preserver can restore the state of an object to what it should be at that moment. This extends to restoring the dead (only if the victim was not supposed to die). For some reason, this does not include information, so people revived by this power would remember their death, and think that the Preserver healed them. NOTE: This ability can also kill, if the person was not supposed to live
• Temporal Amnesia: If the Preserver has met a later version of someone who'se life has been altered by time travellers, and the current timeline that the past self of that person is in is close enough to the original, then the Preserver can replace the altered memories with the originals. This can even be used on people who have been revived using the Restore State ability.
• Constrain to Time: The Preserver can generate a multi-dimensional force field which prevents time travel within a 30' radius
• Return to Baseline Time: A preserver can send anyone to their baseline time. The range is by touch and this ability has no effect on non-displaced people and objects
• Time Blink: This allows a Temporal Preserver to become invisible and intangible (must be both, not one or the other) by shifting into a subdimension. This can only be done while the Preserver is before his baseline time. This can also be set to make the Preserver fade whenever an action would alter time.

Psionics/Magic: Select 2 super psionics and 8 from any other categories (ISP: 5xME + 1D20) or select 10 spells from levels 1-8 (PPE: 10xPE)

Cybernetics: It is impossible to implant cybernetics into this breed. The parts just vanish.

Money: 6D6 x 500,000 in Heroes Unlimited. 8D6 x 100,000 Cr. in Rifts. Some may have more or less than this, but these levels are fairly standard
